Regulatory compliance for phone numbers

Some countries and number types require regulatory verification before a Twilio telephone number can be activated. Compose AI guides you through the information and documents required for the selected country, number type, and end-user type.

The submitted information are reviewed by Twillio’s compliance team, and are approved or rejected after review. The review process can take few hours to up to 2 days.
